Cashback Site: TopCashBack
Posted by admin on November 16th, 2009 filed in CashbackTopCashBack is my favourite of the big UK cashback sites for many reasons.
The site doesn’t look like much, they could afford to pay a decent web designer to get in there and sort out the design and navigation — but don’t be deceived by looks. The site is very organised, fast, interactive and most importantly of all is that they have great rates.
The Good:
- There is no admin fee. Zero, Nada, Nothing. TopCashBack is 100% free to use for all.
- Great rates. As previously mentioned TopCashBack have impressive rates, it is rare to find them offering a lower rate than any other site and often they beat it.
- ‘Top-ups’. This is a TopCashBack initiative that makes sure you earn even more — you are rewarded for your loyalty, so the more you earn with them in February — the higher rate you get in March meaning you can earn up to 110% back.
- They have an extensive referral program allowing you to earn even more. You can earn £2.50 for every member you refer to them who earns their first £5. But uniquely they also allow you to earn through other peoples spending — so you can send your friends and family who don’t have an account through specific merchant links and you get their cashback that would have otherwise gone to no one!
- Comments section — Each merchant page has a comments section so that people can discuss their transactions. I have posted several comments here, including some negative ones, and all have gone through. No heavy moderation like you get on GreasyPalm.
- Fast enquiries. On the odd occasion I have had an issue the enquiries have been dealt with very quickly and I have always got the correct result.
- The design is a little shoddy as previously mentioned. This may put off newcomers.
- Lack of competitions. Most other cashback sites are absolutely swimming in competitions these days — Quidco seem to have a new one every day — TopCashBack has been known to have a few.
The Bad:
The fact that I can only think of those two points for ‘The Bad’ says a lot doesn’t it? Overall TopCashBack comes very highly recommended by me and if you decided you only want to join one and stick with it then it should be this one

At least there is another avenue for blogger and web people to use. For those who are online for quite sometime, I think the design is secondary to what the site really offers. As you said up, what are behind the scenes features are good and that is important. Design and beauty without substance is nothing. ^^

I agree with webbieLady, the design can be whatever as long as there is decent content on the site it doesn’t matter. But sounds like a great idea.

TopCashBack is probably the best cash back site – no admin fees, 100%+ cash back, referral rewards and on many occasions higher cash back rates when compared to rivals such as Quidco.
