Freebie: The Collection iPad app

Ringier have just released an interesting new app called 'The Collection', it's a trendy monthly 'appazine' that will take a look at all the hottest global topics in an entertaining new way and it will be available in English, Chinese and German.

Ringier themselves say about the Appazine:

Besides first-class articles, audio, photos and videos, inter-active elements will include panoramic photography, 3D digital animation, creative morphing, rubbing, X-Ray lens and much much more.

 

The first issue concentrates on the Royals and specifically Prince William and his upcoming role as King. Looking into the Windsor family indepth and all the information you could ever want about Prince William himself. There are also many interactive features that let you play with the crown jewels and send your message to the happy couple.

Here are a few screenshots from the iPad version but it will be available for many formats. And best of all it's my favourite price – Free! If you're still not sold you can visit the official site and gather lots of extra information for yourself as well as watching a preview video, reading the extensive FAQs section or even getting in touch with the developers. You can download it right now from the appstore, just open itunes and head on over there to get started.

I will definitely be grabbing the iPad application for myself to pass the time on my upcoming four hour flight to Spain next month and hopefully they will release an iPhone version by then as well for my other half to use.
