Don’t buy things you can actually make

As for herbs though, you will need to spend a little bit of money buying the seeds, pots and soil. But after that, you can just grow them at home on your window sill.

Buy value products
Instead of spending a premium buying the branded products in the supermarket, you should try and buy their ‘value’ equivalents. You could knock hundreds of dollars off your shopping bill every year by doing this, so you should give it a go.

Value products are often pretty much the same as branded products, so you will be getting a very similar product for a fraction of the price.
