Tip: Sell Your Gold
Posted by admin on November 30th, 2009 filed in TipIf you live in the UK and watch any amount of daytime TV then you can’t failed to have noticed all the adverts for services that want to buy your gold. They air about five of them each advert break – the gist of each is generally the same, they want your old, used and unwanted gold – whether that be a gorgeous solid gold watch or a small broken back off an earring. They will value the gold you send them and then send payment to you.
But why have all these sites and adverts suddenly popped up and are they really worth your time?
The simple answer is that it depends on the gold you have. If it’s that sold gold watch then you are better off keeping it as the price offered will not be competitive compared to how much you could sell it for online or to any good jewellers – but if you literally have scraps of gold laying around that no one would ever buy as is then yes, send them off and get a few pound back for it.
The money is better in your pocket than no ones, right?
