Tip: Top Holiday Destinations

If you are like the majority of people in the UK right now you are looking out of your window at the current snow storm that has hit the country – if you are like me you will be loving it and getting that feeling that Christmas is really on the way. A lot of people however will be looking at it and wishing they were somewhere exotic and warm instead!

If there’s one thing us Brits know how to do, it’s enjoy a good holiday in the sun.

Spain has been the top UK holiday destination for many years but recently the popularity of both Egypt and Thailand have skyrocketed. Visiting Egypt is popular because of the current exchange rate making it very affordable and Visiting Thailand because of the perceived exotic nature and luxury associated with it. Plus of course Thailand is famed throughout the world for it’s hospitality – the best time to visit Thailand is between July and October which also aids in it’s popularity as most European countries have turned cold and gone out of season by then. There is of course a huge range of activities you can take part in there – from cultural shows to snorkeling.

I can only see Thailand getting more and more popular in 2010!
